Depression, trauma, grief, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable experiences in our lives. We often feel lost in the forest, unable to gauge our surroundings, and find a way clear of our circumstances. As a therapist, I strive to act as a guide. By observing yourself, and being honest about your happiness, it is my goal to help you into the view you want for your life.
Every relationship reaches a place where confusion grows like ivy and stagnates growth. In couples counseling, I encourage a shared destination, where the distribution of power and decision making becomes a shared goal for a better understanding of your relationship's destination. Through compassion for one another, shared goals grow into new understanding.
With a focus on the dynamics that most impact family life, I work with children and families through play therapy and strength building to better develop a more cohesive family unit. Whether it be building healthier routines, or overcoming obstacles of understanding, together we will examine and build family systems that are strategic and driven by cooperation for a happy home life.
The stories we tell ourselves drive the everyday patterns of our lives. If you are here, perhaps an opportunity to tell your story in new light has emerged. As a guide, I use a wealth of tools to help you find your way to a version of yourself you want to meet.
